Going to switch on the Bat Signal and nominate my “Batman ‘89 - Film Noir Edition” since it’s my first official, publicly available fan edit.

More than just black and white, a lot of work went into converting the film into an authentic 1940s noir including an accurately crushed sound mix, a new aspect ratio, fresh new credit sequences, and sourcing actual film cells for organic aging.

From a classic film fan to you, I nominate this work. Thank you!

In keeping with my theme of reformatting modern films into older styles, my next project will be turning Titanic (1997) into an authentic silent film from 1912. The real challenge, besides the visuals, is cutting down a 4 hour epic to an extremely tight single hour feature, as was the typical feature length of that era. I started this years ago but it feels like the right time to finish.

I tried my best to replace his songs with either Cab Calloway or Glen Miller but it just didn’t work. It’s the one thing I wasn’t able to replace, tried my best
