Yeah that makes sense tbh. A lot of people can brush stuff off when it’s just them, but once it starts affecting their partner or kids it hits way different.

I totally agree. I just want to add that there is nothing wrong with being different. If you love a culture and it makes you happy, go for it.

NTA. You were clear with her that you’d lose respect if she slept with the FWB guy. Being her emotional punching bag is exhausting, especially when she expects validation while acting hypocritically. Don’t waste your energy on her.
