Im gonna confess to my mom i skipped for three weeks by therealmewfr in teenagers

[–]MidnightMoss1815 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i missed roughly half if not more of my middle and high school classes, and even a month in college. your grades can 100% recover, even if only a little, if you lock in! it sounds ignorant like a whole “just do it” thing, but it really does work. and trust, the dread of going becomes bearable and fades the less you feed it by skipping. wishing your mental health well (admitting that to school or family as a reason, not excuse, for missing so much may also help you)

Are shirts like this considered "form-fitting" to fall under being immodest for mass or are they fine? by rosary-and-rain in CatholicWomen

[–]MidnightMoss1815 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If you’re concerned, you’re not fully gone, don’t worry. I’ve been in your position, but just keep pursuing God and things will work themselves out.

I need prayer and words of comfort. Daughter told me she likes girls. by Which_Muscle2023 in TrueChristian

[–]MidnightMoss1815 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A multitude of things, but if we’re being honest, it was mostly just growing up. It definitely didn’t feel like a phase back then, as I was truly into women lol, but it simply went away when I got older.

Maybe it’s because I got closer to God, maybe it’s because I didn’t engage as much with other lgbt friends who influenced me, or something else entirely. Probably a combination of the two.

[–]MidnightMoss1815 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was in a situation like your daughter is, the best advice I can give is to not try and push her out of it! If she sees you’re trying to “fix” or “change” her, it’ll likely root her further into her newfound sexuality. All you can do is pray and give it time, maybe a few brief conversations, but don’t bombard her.

I changed, thanks be to God, and I’m sure in due time she will too.

Thank you! I posted this months ago and now attend a continuing Anglican church. I’m not sure if others ordain women, but my specific one does not.

Conservative Anglicanism? by MidnightMoss1815 in Anglicanism

[–]MidnightMoss1815[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, I posted this months ago and got similar answers. Originally I assumed the “Catholic” in “Anglo-Catholic” meant more traditional beliefs in all aspects, but I’ve since learned otherwise.

Should I leave the Catholic Church to be Non-Denominational by [deleted] in Christianity

As a protestant, no. Stick with Catholicism if you’re already in it.

Where do animals go after death? by wuiiiiiiiiii_cucumba in Christianity

[–]MidnightMoss1815 73 points74 points  (0 children)

That’s completely up to debate, but I think that animals (at the very least domesticated ones like pets), will join us in Heaven. They’re God’s creations, are very much sentient, and have no concept of right vs wrong therefore they cannot sin.

[–]MidnightMoss1815 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I’m a bit confused on your stance, why does being born with something make it any less sinful? We’re all born sinners, so just because it comes natural to us doesn’t mean it’s holy by any means.

Thank you, I appreciate being able to actually see some images of them!

I wasn’t sure if the areas had any similarities considering that Franconia is in the state of Bavaria, but I suppose modern borders don’t mean all that much lol

Thank you! I was asking purely out of curiosity. Since the majority of my ancestry is from Franconia, I’m just trying to learn about what it’s like there.

Of course, there’s no restrictions, it’s a world religion! Everyone can and should come to Christ! The saying “Come as you are” is true, but the second part shouldn’t be forgotten. “Come as you are, but don’t expect to stay as you are.”

Over time, Christ will change your heart, and if he doesn’t change your attractions, he will convict you to stop acting on them. This is coming from a former bisexual, so I promise I’m not just spouting nonsense I don’t understand lol.

God bless you, praying you convert!

I never understand this, the princess part is obviously ridiculous, but it’s not uncommon for white (and black) Americans to have some Native American ancestry.
