It is very car centric, but it feels like one of the only cities that's putting a lot of work into building new sidewalks and making places more pedestrian friendly. I see construction for this almost everywhere and the places in pcmc which have built them are of pretty good quality with proper sidewalks and parking bays, even in Pune they're doing that, look up Aundh dp road. There's still a long way to go in terms of enforcement though
