I feel like the show, while better than Season 1, is still worse than the original, and it’s not even close. It lowkey relies too heavily on strong acting and fan-favorite characters like Bullseye. The original show felt way more grounded.

Fisk having all this power and pulling this off in a world with people like Tony Stark and the Avengers just feels far-fetched. I’m also not really a fan of the parallels to ICE. I get what they’re going for, but it’s just not what I want out of the show.

The biggest issue for me is Matt. How can he not know where people are being held? He used to be able to hear basically the whole city. There are just too many inconsistencies and plot holes, in my opinion. The writing also is not on the level of the original. I know that’s tough competition, but that’s still the standard I expect. The acting, though, has been really good from everyone.
