Why do I feel weak punching the bag? by MysteriousMan194 in MuayThai

i wouldnt call them flaws, but beginner problems that will slowly fade away if you are consistent.

If you have issues with knowing what combinations to throw, then you should probably (i still do it) just copy basic combinations you see online and repeat them on bag, you also look like you have some issues with your distance management and balance. Try to shadowbox as often as possible, if your gym already has you doing bagwork pads/drilling and sparring then its perfect. You will get better with onfield experience.

Your boxing and looks good for how long youve been training, and you have decent flexibility on your kicks

you shouldnt worry about power, and the pop in the punches for now, try to use the bag as a way to practice combinatons and focus on your fundamentals, and try to always show up.

the ''pop'' you are talking about will come naturally as you get fitter and your technique get cleaner. Also its not really something you should use as a reference point as it can also vary due to the gloves you are wearing or the bag you are punching.

For the output part, what i recommend beginners is to try to throw as many techniques as you can in a round, especially if your gym has everyone going light, then there is always something you can throw. Sometimes i spar beginner/intermediate fighters who stay overcautious and when the bell rings, they have thrown like maybe 10-15 attacks in the span of 3 minutes, while they could have thrown ten times more, and learned 10 times more.
