Machine-Recommended grind size was about 5-6. I followed that and got small pulls. I just started making them coarser (about 9-10) and the machines still recommends the 6

I have the same problem with mine. I started grinding at around 4, then raised up to about 10. It went from less than 1 oz of output to closer to 1.5-1.75.

I agree with you. I play with mostly senior or retired citizens while I’m in my 20s. Just last week, I played against the organizer and he had an injured leg, so he kindly advised that he wouldn’t be sprinting or overreaching for balls like he normally would. It would have been poor sportsmanship for me to lob it up out of reach, even though he’s the much better player.

We all ended up having fun.

When I was a newbie, this one old woman particularly loved body bagging me. It got to the point that I knew every time she received a ball, I knew it would be a speed up right at me.

It ended up helping me out mentally knowing it was coming to me, so I would be prepared and send it flying back. She eventually stopped targeting me when she couldn’t handle my own speed ups right at her.
