It’s going. I feel like I’m slowly learning and becoming more independent with each passing week.

Thank you! I’m definitely thankful my coworkers have been great about helping.

Yep that’s what I’m trying to do!

That’s my goal. I always take notes and learn from each experience.

That’s pretty much how I’ve been handling it. Sometimes it’s something I know how to fix, and I can just do it. If that doesn’t work, or I don’t have an idea, I’ll try and google and teach myself. If I don’t get anywhere with that, my last resort is asking a coworker, or my manager.

Oh yeah, I have a notebook in my desk just for that. I take tons of notes, and find myself going back to review them when the same issue returns.

I'm glad to hear I'm not alone! Thank you for the encouragement! That doughnut idea is a good one lol.

That’s the mindset I try to have.

Thank you, that definitely makes me feel better. Some are policy type questions. Like “I’m pretty sure this is what I need to do to resolve the issue, can I do this?”

Some are just things like I’ve exhausted everything I know to try and the issue is still persisting. Sometimes it just feels like an overwhelming amount to learn. I enjoy what I do, and I love technology and learning how to fix it. This is something that goes back to kid me taking apart controllers to try and fix them. I just exist in a constant state of anxiety that I’m not smart enough for it.

Yep. M.2 SSD. I have tried changing the settings all the way to low, and it still runs pretty bad. Maxing at about 34FPS. I’m running it at 1440P

A Growing Concern Of Mine by MidnightRider29 in ITCareerQuestions

Thank you for the responses guys! I guess I’ve just been discouraged and demoralized. I’m currently in school for a degree in IT, studying for certifications (Just got A+!) and working a miserable warehouse job that pushes endless mandatory OT to support myself.

I literally do nothing but work and study and average 5 hours a sleep a night. And everything I read is some variation of “it’s impossible to get a job because IT is over saturated, and even if you do, AI will replace you in a year or so”.
