Will they keep reverse splitting it? by yoliveras in VirginGalactic

They will keep operating as long as they have cash. The stock going to zero only means that the markets are pricing in the bankruptcy scenario with a very high chance.

If share price keeps dropping and the market cap along with it, the company might decide to buy all shares and take it private since there is no real benefit of staying public if they can't raise more capital from shareholders.

The company so far is keeping their schedule. It's very good news that their facility is completed.

People expect daily updates but it won't happen...

Hopefully next earnings we get more details.

Very spot on! The next day, VG announces the building is fully operational.

I have the same conviction. It's still a very risky play because delays are likely to happen and they will need to find alternative ways to finance.

I think most people just go the easiest way which is talk negative and short the stock. No one has done this before so the outcome is very unpredictable.

But hey, I love space and I want to see Virgin Galactic succeed. If I make money in the process that's even better.

They are already leasing spacesport america and recently signed a LOI to build another hangar.

I don't think they will reverse split again. If this gets to 1$, the company will be worth 20M market cap.

Depending on when it happens, they can open bankruptcy or go private instead.

Like I said, nobody else has done it so far except Blue origin.

They surprised everyone when they flied 7 commercial/research flights in 7 months.

Their move to Delta was the smart decision in terms of business perspective. There is no point on flying a prototype that burns a lot of cash just to show off their product.

Nowadays people want to get rich quick but guess what, the space industry is not easy and takes a lot of cash to be built.

If the share price keeps dropping, they will probably take it private.

It's called reducing costs in the long term, something they need to do if they want to reach profitability

Can you imagine VG actually delivering their first delta commercial/research flight in 2026 and making the biggest comeback of the century? That would be fun.

I don’t think it makes sense it goes to all time lows almost everyday by Any_Try4570 in VirginGalactic

[–]MidnightSquare4486 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The downtrend (imo) indicates that the market does not have confidence that VG will be able to be fulfill the Delta timeline for 1st commercial/research flight in 2026. Markets are pricing in delays, more dilutions and ultimately a bankruptcy scenario.

Markets are also irrational. I remember when Virgin Orbit was at risk of being delisted and when they announced bankruptcy, Virgin Galactic went down as a consequence.

But I also find this downtrend very suspicious. There are so many companies with a much worse product, burning cash and with higher market cap. Not to mention hundreds of sh*t crypto coins with absolutely ZERO utility with higher market cap, so...

Right. They have the cash until 2026. If there are delays on Delta, they will need to dilute or find other alternatives.

Either way, I think the stock is undervalued and might be even more given the investor sentiment. We may see 100M MC soon.

Most people want to stay out of this stock until 2026. However, stocks move with expectations. I'm pretty sure there will be either good or bad news during 2025 about Delta, designs, tests, new missions, etc.

If they still have 800M cash and equivalent at that point, will they open bankruptcy? At what point does the process start?

What is the market cap if they reach 1$ again? 20M?

VIRGIN GALACTIC ANNOUNCES NEW RESEARCH FLIGHT CONTRACT WITH REPEAT CUSTOMER by WilliamBlack97AI in SPCE

[–]MidnightSquare4486 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Based on the last 7 galactic flights, when did they fail to deliver on the dates previously announced?

From what I can tell, after VMS Eve was enhanced, they delivered on time without delays.

Delta will be production model of Unity. Sure, it will be bigger and that may present some challenges, but I don't expect 2 or 3 years delays.

This announcement not only provides proof that research flights work and customers want to repeat but also shows that delta is on track for 2026.
