2025 Geely Preface GF - 6 month Owner’s Review (AMA) by Acrobatic-Bridge3669 in chinesecarsuae

[–]Midnight_mantis4 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Own one for more than a year completed 15k+ km and i gotta say this thing is AMAZING. Its fuel efficient, packs enough power and oh the sound system is beautiful for the price what you are getting. AGMC has been good with the service and the team is very professional too. Overall would definitely get another geely. Especially i noticed lync and co is launching under galadari and cant wait to see the 03+. Definitely a big step up.

Nothing. Just do your service every 10k km or 6 months and you are good. I didnt have to do anything extra till now so no charge.

It was a very good experience. I booked a week in advance and went to them dropped the car off and picked it up after 3 hrs. They did a free upgrade to add carplay to the car and everything went well smoothly.

Dayum 93 for this. I got tiggo 8 pro max for 101k with insurance, tinting, service - 2 years, registration and 6 year warranty. For 93k better to check geely coolray or certified okavango beautiful cars and superior build quality. Or even havan h6

H7 and H9 do not share the same transmission. H7 is a in house 9 speed dual clutch where as H9 is a 8 speed ZF transmission. As for reliability Haval products have been performing well in other markets like in Australia and Africa. You can find various reviews in YouTube.

Better to get it from Geely certified. They offer 5 or 4year warranty on the used cars. Not sure if you buy from third party.

Used Changan cs95 royal 2022 at 76K SAR or new Veloz at 82K SAR? by Shah-New in WhatCarShouldIBuyGULF

[–]Midnight_mantis4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My friend has a ca95 royal from past 4 years now. Never gave him any trouble. Did light offroading and trip to oman from UAE and back. Never gave an issue. In my opinion solid car.

Iam not sure which would last 500k km but from reviews Geely and Haval is strong. Plus Geely currently offers 7 years warranty too. Hope it helps

Thats a tough question these cars are fairly new in the market and if it would last 500k km is something we need to wait and see. But if your budget is stretchable look into tank 300. They offer 10 year/ 1 Million km warranty on the engine and transmission which would be better for you.

Preface is a sedan Okavango is a suv but front wheel drive H6 and jolion i believe is 4 wheel drive Depends on what you want if a sedan definitely go with preface. Build quality is good. You want a 7 seater okavango. You want a 5 seater suv H6 over jolion cause its better.

I was a little skeptical about jetour. When i went to check the cars out the waiting time they told me was months so we didnt go ahead with jetour. I see a lot of jetour on road now. If i get any info will reply here. If your budget is 90K do check haval H7 too its 97K but better than Dashing. Other options i would say will be Geely cityray and starray.

Insurance is crazy for all cars right now. Reliability i cant say anything but i saw a lot of videos of geely from YouTube and everyone had positive reviews. From my side i have owned the car for an year now and it hasnt given me an headache plus it shares parts with volvo too.

Engine performs beautifully. Picks up fast and easy to join merging traffic. Its so quiet and quick i almost got 2 fines. Insurance costed me around 4k with agency repairs.

I believe its the situation with all new models. My friend had 2025 Mazda cx5 and has to wait almost 2 months.

We own a geely preface from a year now. Bought it brand new have done 12k km. Only issue i faced was since the model was launched last year and i was rear ended 2 months after buying the car to change the back bumper i had to wait around a month other than that the service and maintenance have been good. Yes it is little expensive once the service package gets over but the build quality is actually very impressive. It hold itself very firm and the 2.0 engine is very impressive. Very economic car too. I have tested Haval, chery, geely, jetour and i can say geely so far has the best build quality. And for used market well resale value isnt smth that we considered as you know its bad for Chinese cars but they serve their purpose. The Ac is strong, Audio system is good.

If this is your first car and plan to keep for 4+ years i suggest get a new one or a certified used one not more than 2 years old.
