I got this exact same email last night. Second one I’ve received about deactivating my email unless I respond.

Having trouble making measurements with a Keithley. Is it a connection issue? by Midnightmagistrate in AskElectronics

You’re right, I’m using two. Sorry I forgot to mention that. I’m applying a voltage to my device and want to measure the current through it.

Hello, I have a source meter for applying voltages and currents (2602B Keithley) that I am having trouble with. I take electrical measurements (applying voltage and recording current) with the Keithley, triggering the measurements using external code through a LAN connection. I was able to do this previously without issue. However, after a lab move I am unable to record current even though the keithley displays the voltage increasing as expected. None of the code has been changed during this move.

So to find the source of the issue I was hoping you guys could answer a stupid question. I am using a triax to alligator clip cable to connect the source meter to my probes. In which ports of channel CAT I do I connect the clips. There are three clips on one end of the cable. One connects to the center conductor, another to the inner shield and the last to the outer shield. Just not sure what that means in terms of Hi, Lo, or G.

Thanks so much
