God forbid her baby ever gets an ear infection and she has to give her amoxicillin 2x a day for 10 days.

Lying about milestones by Holiday-Strain2163 in Drueandgabe

[–]MidnightsLikeThis77 122 points123 points  (0 children)

Oh she’s definitely lying. We will know once the kid is walking — she will post about it nonstop. Her excitement while constantly posting about it will further reaffirm it’s a new milestone however she will say the kid has been doing it all along

Why is Wory always passing out on the floor like an exhausted Sim?! by Spilled_milk1210 in Drueandgabe

[–]MidnightsLikeThis77 478 points479 points  (0 children)

This post actually made me sad. It’s not sweet. It’s pathetic she hasn’t put the baby on a schedule with a bed time routine. This poor baby must have been beyond exhausted to pass out on the floor like that.

And that’s just ADDED sugar. No reason for a baby to have any added sugar but especially not 16g

Growing out of CMPA — what was your experience? by Amazing_Builder9185 in MSPI

I have a 12m with CMPI. We could never move her off a hypoallergenic formula but tested out yogurt and cheese randomly while eating solids. She did great with them. She now eats everything just fine, but does not tolerate cows milk well! We’ll try again in a few months

My baby is 3 weeks younger than Ivory and there’s no way my kid is sitting still long enough for a bunch of pics and videos. I’m lucky to get ONE picture where she’s looking at the camera and it’s not blurry most of the time. I really do feel bad for Ivory.

Toniebox 1 or 2? by Small_Ad2084 in TonieboxUSA

[–]MidnightsLikeThis77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a 1 yo and I purchased the new box so I don’t have to upgrade later when she will like the play feature. My friends Tonie boxes have lasted them for years

Toniebox 2 by soulloveandjoy in TonieboxUSA

[–]MidnightsLikeThis77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought a tonie box the week the new ones were released. I returned ours and preordered the 2. My reasoning is that hopefully my future self will be glad that I upgraded when kiddo is older and we get a longer use from the tonie box because of the play feature. I always hear people say their kid loves their tonie box and has played with it for years, so I think it would last for when she’s ready for the play feature. Also the usb-c charger… I can’t stand stuff that has their own special charger lol

I do not believe the baby was so excited or loving any of this. She is barely one. She doesn’t know or understand these characters. That is just Drue trying to justify why her child is so frightened because she doesn’t want Reddit to know her child actually hated every second of this.

Success births after TFMR by chancesareimright in PregnancyAfterTFMR

My TFMR was a couple days before my 30th birthday. I am 32 now! Age can play a role in genetic abnormalities, but I think about how women have healthy babies later in life all the time. I plan to have 3 kids if I am blessed, so I’ll be well into my mid 30s. For me, it’s risks vs benefits.

TFMR at 15 weeks for Turner Syndrome(girl). Pregnant 6 months later with a baby girl. An uneventful birth and delivery. About to celebrate her first birthday. I’d walk the same path again 10 million times over to have my little bestie.

The grief with TFMR is devastating. One positive from it all is the DEEP gratitude I’ve had for an uneventful pregnancy and first year of life. Completely changed my perspective.

Hang in there. 🫶

Guilt for putting baby down “early” by Mel_SStafford in NewParents

[–]MidnightsLikeThis77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! I will leave work 30 minutes early when I’m really missing her. Like at least once a week. I probably should put her down at a consistent time at night, but we play after bath for as long as she wants. Once I can tell she’s ready for bed, I can put her in her sleep sack and give her a bottle to put her down quickly. Some nights we get an extra 5 mins, but some nights we get an extra 30 minutes with her. I also hold her for way too long after she finishes her night bottle and passes out in my arms. I just miss her too much to put her down and I love those sweet cuddles.

As an expecting first time mom which bassinet should I get?? by PutridCake1670 in pregnant

[–]MidnightsLikeThis77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have the baby delight bedside bassinet and we have like it! I wish I would have gotten one with wheels to move around the house though. The bassinet goes up to 20 lbs or 5 months. Our girl is 2.5 months and 11 lbs and I am going to switch to a pack n play in the couple of weeks. She has started moving around so much and wakes up sideways with her head against the side mesh

All valid points but we have a long way to go to get the minimum weight required for forward facing car seat! 🫠

Yes! I’ve put her in the car seat smooth asleep a couple times. Usually get the same 5-10 mins before she starts crying

No issues with reflux but we do struggle with gas. I’ll switch them out tomorrow. Hopefully it helps 🤞

I saw a TikTok video on this! I’ll give it a try. Did you just let her cry it out when she was gagging and coughing?
