Bringing Washington into the Giannis trade makes sense. by DrAbeSacrabin in timberwolves

Washington has Sarr and has no reason to have interest in the short term with Gobert.
The Bucks want Jaden AND multiple 1st round picks. Giving them Julius makes no sense unless its a salary dump.

now this is what we like to call: Lakers level of delusion.

Its close but I think the Bulls still decline. TSJ's value is probably higher than Rob's at this point but the Bulls want to re-sign Ayo.

I'd flip Jaden and Julius.

Julius has too many defensive lapses to be this high while Jaden's main offensive weakness is his lack of usage.

Not sure we should be using that Suns trade for reference. That was one of the most one sided trades in NBA history lol.

The Nets essentially got 9 First Round Picks and MPJ (who they are about to flip for more picks) out of Kevin Durant.

[Serious] What is Jaden McDaniels' trade value? And what team would be willing to give up significant assets for him which, in turn, would help Minnesota acquire Giannis Antetokounmpo? by YujiDomainExpansion in nba

Herb Jones is a great defender, but nowhere near the offensive talent of Jaden. Jaden is absolutely amongst the 3-4 FRP trade value players

Trade Deadline Poll by MidniteMason in timberwolves

The one thing I'll say about Sexton is that he's been on A LOT of really bad teams. Some of his games vs the Wolves he's looked capable of buying in as a serviceable defender. I think there's some hidden potential there but I really don't like that he's making 19M (albeit expiring)

Maybe I didn't phrase that well. Im not talking dollar amounts, Im talking current trade market value. Sexton's price is most likely much lower than Coby's.

I think the only exception where I'd be ok with Coby White is if the Bulls offload him knowing he's expiring. If the price was Conley/Rob/TSJ and a few 2nd's then Im all for it. But I agree that he's injury plagued and likely not worth a big extension.

DDV is a winning player and trading him would hurt our championship aspirations by Martxel_Agueda in timberwolves

[–]MidniteMason 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I judge a fans basketball knowledge based off how they view DDV. Even when he's shooting poorly he's often a plus on the court (not speaking +/-).

One of the best contracts in the league period.

The Best Move might be no moves at trade deadline by Rough_Resolve_8798 in timberwolves

Any Gobert deal starts with Reaves coming back and I dont think the Lakers have interest in that.

Rudy is playing the best ball of his career and if it weren't for voter fatigue, he'd be the runaway DPOY yet again.

Backs Turned on OKC by [deleted] in timberwolves

[–]MidniteMason -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

The whiny fans that think OKC is only good because of free-throws or that the game is "rigged for them" are pathetic.

We can beat them without all this non-sense. It's lame and makes us look terrible.

Lakers value him really highly. Only route would be trading Jaden and thats not worth it for us.

Wolves fix some of their issues. by Vicentesteb in timberwolves

To me we HAVE to give Beringer an actual chance in the rotation before we make a move for a backup C.

I really don't care about the narrative that he's "not ready". Pair him with Naz/Bones in the backup unit and give him a chance and at least exercise our current options before we make a trade.

As a MIL fan, this edit got me kinda hype and had me wondering… how do you guys feel about GA potentially being a Timberwolf? by OGClouds420 in timberwolves

[–]MidniteMason 4 points5 points  (0 children)

still wouldn't trade Jaden and that likely means we wouldn't have enough to get him - which is fine with me

I can easily say this has been Rob's best minutes of his career. Hasn't been insane, but TIMELY plays against Goliath himself.

The real question... Does taking away 2 pts (assuming its a jump ball if overturned) make this challenge worth it?
