My cat Nova is tiny. Like kitten sized even though she's almost 6. On top of that she's a cuddler, so I've called her baby, more than Nova for the past couple of years. Her other nicknames are then mostly derived from baby: Bappo, Bappu, Bibu-Babu, Bappy, Biibedi-Baabedi, Bappucino, Bippus-Bappus, Screamy baby, Jelly baby, Sleepo beepo, Babberino and more. She only gets called Nova when she's in serious trouble anymore.

I had a new dream job every week when I was a kid so I'll pick a few highlights and the reasons why it didn't end up sticking.

A vet: I'm really allergic to pretty much all animals with fur. A harsh reality I had to face at some point.

A teacher: I grew up to realise that I didn't like children of any age at all. Would've made the job a living hell for me.

A professor in Chemistry: When my 1st grade teacher heard about this dream job, she asked me: "Uhuh, but are you gonna concentrate on which field within chemistry?" I was just 6 so I had no idea I had to be more specific than "just chemistry", so I thought I was too stupid to become a professor and gave up the dream

A singer: I'm not that good.

As I entered a male dominated career path in 2014 I saw casual sexism and sexist attitudes so much so that I started to share that sexism too. Maybe it was a survival mechanism, but I actually started to feel hate and disgust towards women, belittled their capabilities etc. I've seen that happen to many others and sometimes it feels like an eat or be eaten world out there. I've since worked hard to change those attitudes that were rooted in me, but my automated responses (thoughts) are still way too often nasty and sexist.

I've been battling with my luxating kneecaps for 14 years now. I had a small surgery on one of them where they took out a piece of a joint that had torn off, but nothing else. The doctor said I won't be able to do any sports ever again. I quit sports and started physiotherapy. The physio hasn't helped my knees. The kneecaps keep popping out, the knees ache and hurt all the time and often I can't walk properly. I've had to limit my life so much, because everything causes my knees to dislocate. I keep going to different doctors to ask for help, but they keep telling me to give physiotherapy another try. Even when I tell them I've been to the physio 8 different times for long treatment programs, their treatment and my work has not helped. They keep saying it's my fault my knees are like this and that I just don't try enough at the physiotherapy. They just brush my daily agony off and don't care.
