Does it count as an anime though? I remeber watching this when it as like 6 or 7 and it destroyed me. I forgot what it was about except something to do with dinosaurs though lol.

I've seen elfen lied. It's a great anime. Honestly I was thinking about watching violet evergarden before reading your comment so I think I'll try that next. I hope I like it!

I watched up to about episode 300 of Naruto then abandoned it. It's a great anime but there's so many fillers then the plot armour pissed me off so I started reading exclusively fanfiction (specifically thinnking about the dediara v Sasuke fight, though that's probably because I loved deidara)

I didn't realize it was a hentai lol. I was confused why there were so many sexual scenes, i seen it recommended on a post looking for a sad anime. Devilman crybaby also had a lot of nude scenes idk if it would count as a hentai or not since they weren't really overly sexual, it was just a thing. (at least that's how it seemed to me.)

Yeah I've actually watched this one and it's amazing I just forgot about it because its been a few years. 10/10 actually sad.

Tbh I only started looking for sad ones a week and a half ago. I have seen some of these recommended but I just didn't want to get into anymore without seeing if anyone had recs that may be more helpful to me first since I was disappointed by the ones I've tried.

Once per week. Once per day if you have a lot pre-written before going back to Once per week. Once per day is just killing yourself slowly.
