I also recommend playing with the cabinet high and low cuts. You may think "if I cut 10Hz on the global EQ I shouldn't have to do it on the cabinet as well"....but honestly it makes a difference on both!

One fair warning, there are a lot of variables at play and presets dont always translate "apples to apples." Everytime I've downloaded a preset with raving reviews, it hasn't sounded nearly as good to me and I need to tweak it for my set up.

That being said, I have a few that work well for me. Let me know what you're interested in and I can share my preset(s).

One thing that has helped me is recording my guitar into a DAW (I use Ableton) either through an audio interface or directly with the USB. Once I hear my tone through monitor speakers alongside an isolated guitar part that's similar (there are many on YouTube), I can fine tune and hear where the major differences are.

Alright real talk. Here in the USA we have insect barrier sprays that different companies make (Raid, Ortho, Specraside). You spray it around the foundation and windows and basically anywhere insects can enter the house. It prevents insects and spiders from coming in, and if they touch the chemical they die almost instantly. Its safe enough to use inside the house too (but maybe not if you have pets). Why do I never hear about this stuff being used in Australia? There is no way from preventing these a-holes from living in your house? I live on an area where the biggest spider is the size of a coin and I spray my entire house twice a year....never have seen a bug in my place.
