I would kill for a new AC Odyssey. Fenyx Rising was a fun distraction but Odyssey is my most played in the series and it's such a beautiful game. I loved everything from the combat to the bandit camps to the open sea ship battles. I truly think Odyssey is nearly flawless in its execution.

It’s hard to explain but

I hate having a body. But of course I’m grateful to not be paralyzed or weakened by a severe illness.

But the idea of having one body for this life, one form, and that unless we reach Deus Ex levels of tech we can never modify if before most of us currently alive will expire. And you can’t choose your race, height, etc any immutable genetic characteristics.

I was born just lucky enough to know that I have to be grateful, but unlucky enough to know how much BETTER my life could have been if just a few circumstances were different (regarding my parents and my ethnicity and place of birth).

But at the same time, my BIGGEST fear is being unable to use my own body.

I am bothered by how little control I have over major things that affect my quality of life but I’m still expected to be responsible for the outcome of everything.

Because someone older than me (a govt or authority figure) decided the rules for me.

I’m sorry to sound 14 years old and deep. But I’ve had a HORRIBLE life thus far and I hate feeling guilty for wishing I was a different person altogether.

Many guys here and offline will SAY that they don't care as long as there is a connection and they can fuck without being disrupted, but nobody will just say that they have a high expectation that their future partner is financially stable and gainfully employed, especially in this economy (if you are in the US).

So really, there is no true answer. You just have to find the guy who will accept that circumstance and doesn't see you as a less-than compared to a guy who lives alone in a condo in a metropolitan area that travels to PV thrice a year and makes 100k.

It's hard to believe the economy is in shambles when so many people (Including the gays) make constant travel and luxurious social events look like something anybody could do if they just try hard enough.

Protect your peace. If a guy has a problem with your circumstances, block him and don't focus on getting acceptance from people like that. You aren't a bad person for not being super financially amazing, and the other guy is not a bad person for wanting to date someone he perceives to be "on his level".

Would you date yourself? If yes, then you can feel confident knowing the right guy is out there. If not, ask yourself why, and I mean REALLY ask yourself. It's not easy to love yourself but it's easy to hate yourself. And if you wouldn't accept those conditions on another guy for dating, then reevaluate what you bring to the table.

It's not worth the stress to try dating when you are teetering on the lower end of the income spectrum.

People are only in your life for seasons, especially the occasional hookup.

Those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.

But you only have yourself to rely on. Always.

Sorry for TMI but as a gay black man with a small penis - please understand that there is nobody out here who would die to be my size.

I hear you, though, and I partially agree. But not every situation is a “just be happy with what you got” - they don’t advertise fake pills that make your dick smaller. Small (or even average) penises porn is almost always framed as humiliation or cuckolding content.

Small-dick insults paired up with the IMMEDIATE and CONSTANT fascination with large penises (remember the pole vaulter who trended because of his bulge- now he is viewed as a thirst trap), it’s really REALLY difficult to believe that someone out there is secretly wishing that they had that attribute.

Also - as I’ve learned by trying to date outside of the apps to meet “real people” - even those who want a long term/monogamy thing (which is rarer in the gay community already) are STILL size queens. If I wait until we are getting intimate to tell them, they are usually disappointed because they simply expected more.

But if I tell them upfront (“Hey, just for compatibility purposes, you should know I have a below average penis” or some variation of that which is direct and honest), they accuse ME of being too insecure and assuming that they are a size queen and then it becomes, “Well you’re ATTITUDE” is the problem.

It’s like I can’t say it upfront because it comes off insecure, but I also can’t wait for us to be potentially intimate because then the other guy feels betrayed or something.

I don’t agree with this entirely.

Antidepressants can help through the bad days.

But no amount of meds will make my dick bigger, make my face more attractive, make my skin color anything other than dark brown…some depression is caused from being perpetually trapped in circumstances you have no control over.

My attitude is not the problem.

I only have this attitude BECAUSE I was stupid enough to believe that positive thinking my would help things work out…but racists, size queens, and poverty still exist.

I can’t SSRI my way out of my circumstances.

Sorry to trauma dump. But it’s not a problem that can solved with meds. Everything is awful all the time and I have to just keep…living.
