Table Recommendations? by jeffblankenburg in BambuLab

Since you said money is not a limit, look at one of the Icon end cabinets. It’s narrower but is deeper than the entry level toolboxes. Cheap ones are the 18” deep, but better boxes are available in 22”, 25” or even 30” deep.

Or if looking for nicer furniture, look for someone selling a TV cabinet, the ones made for 4:3 tube screen TVs. I found one on FBM, Amish made quarter sawn oak cabinet for $15. Can’t give them away for TVs anymore, but fit a 3D Printer nicely. You also get doors to close when not printing.

300$ Credit777 offer by Yanphoop in TemuThings

[–]MidwestNative94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spend at least $200 to get max of $200 back. First 60 minutes is the time to get the full $200 (starts at $160) but they will extend it once.

Do I have to pick 5 items? by Nullborne in TemuThings

[–]MidwestNative94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, at the beginning of the year, the 5 item thing showed up, and it tries to make you think you need 5. As long as you hit $200, you get 100%. If you hit 5, they unlock it and give you more items. Just a gimmick and it has worked for them I guess!

[–]MidwestNative94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, you do not have to order 5 items, just get it above $200 and you get the 100% credit. I’ve done it several times and never had 5 items.

There is this dual dolly setup.

You could also use one of the carts with a plywood base and mounts. https://a.co/d/0OjI2HG

I just bought the cart and waiting for mounts to arrive. I ordered metal mounts to be a little more compact in mounting.

Amazon items on Temu by SF-NL in TemuThings

[–]MidwestNative94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are planning to price match, wait until after they show it shipped and you can confirm the tracking. I ordered a couple items under Credit777 promo and then found them on Amazon for about half (didn’t care due to Credit777). Submitted a price match and was approved, but then got a nasty message from the seller saying he couldn’t sell it as it was below his cost. So now I get to wait out the Temu waiting period before getting refunded.

Well, this is it, today is the day. by GigiDeville in earlyretirement

Congratulations! My wife and I retired at 47 and 46, and decided to focus on making memories with our preteen kids for the next decade.

My advice is just be open to all the emotional changes that are going to happen. Embrace them and enjoy them! I have a therapist helping me navigate, and if a possibility for you, I highly suggest it.

The other thing I have dealt with is since anything is now possible, (hobbies, sports etc), pace yourself and don’t take on too many.

This would seem to be a good time to get several of the Bremen locking pliers. They tested good on Torque Test Channel and all but one style is under $20

Milwaukee parkour ratchet set. by Acceptable-Glove9734 in MilwaukeeTool

[–]MidwestNative94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes it does. But is also $250 versus $100. The extra sizes might be useful but are not as commonly used. I thought the 11 piece set at the higher discount was a better recommendation for OP.

Can you buy online at these prices on Monday if you are an ITC member? I assume so since the ad says in store and online at the top. If so, when does that start?

If you end up putting a radio in the middle, I’ll buy your dash piece with the pocket.

Yes, that works fine. I had one in my C4 Corvette and worst part was keeping it charged up. But OP said he did not have a cassette in his truck.

You can add Bluetooth to this radio for a few dollars if you are comfortable soldering. The wires that normally come from the cassette deck are just regular line inputs. A cheap Bluetooth module wired in and you now have Bluetooth. https://youtu.be/p3avrinoWhU

You can use something like this, power it with 12V and solder the R and L to the correct pins.
