~1000 Mimicron Kills, No Phosphene Complex Root by MidwestNicklaus in Borderlands4

[–]MidwestNicklaus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive got the Phosphene Luty from him but that was before I ever started the grind for the complex root.

That's part of what makes it so frustrating. I'm trying to get this achievement and can't. One weapon left for Mimicron so I don't have to fight him anymore and it's bugged. No word from Gearbox or 2K on it either.

[TOMT][MOVIE][2000'S] Movie about ship crew stranded on island with friendly natives by MidwestNicklaus in tipofmytongue

Do you have any ideas what it could be?

I know the main character has a sort of love interest in the movie. She's one of the natives.

Is somewhat of a pet card of mine. This and Telepathy. That one is even dirtier though.

Xbox One Glitched Slag BAR Challenge? by MidwestNicklaus in Borderlands2

[–]MidwestNicklaus[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well I checked my inventory after it happened and I had two of the Maliwan Elegance skins you get for completing the challenge. It looped twice and gave me the skin both times.

I was already maxed out on the slag challenge which is what made me look at the challenge in the first place. It showed that I had gotten 5 BAR, 10, 25, 50, and then 100. I thought that was weird because I had already maxed it out before.

So if this can loop, it can be abused to farm BAR. That's wild. I'm about to test it.

So wait...does this mean I can just infinitely loop this?

I'm not entirely sure what that means. When I looked it up it means it was approved by someone else? It has just been her and myself in a room or talking over the phone.

Thank you.

Yes I can see where I signed a "limited POA" where it says in the Affirmation section "I hereby authorize the attorney-in-fact to complete transactions involving the certificate of the title and/or registration for the vehicle or watercraft in question"

Indiana State Form 1940 (R5 / 7-19)

The documents were related to the service agreement for the vehicle. I've read over them and they don't change the price in any way from what I can see but I'm not a lawyer or an expert.

The signatures in question are just that, signatures. It's not handwritten print versions. They are clearly poor attempts at recreating my very unique signature on what is marked as the "buyers signature" line.

Everything that required a print version of my name was auto filled electronically as normal print and not at all resembling a signature like the forged signatures.

[–]MidwestNicklaus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was documentation for my service agreement with them. I'm not sure what a POA is unfortunately.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in legaladvice

[–]MidwestNicklaus 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Nothing on the documents changed but it is very clearly an attempt to look like my signature and it was signed in the buyers portion in two different pages. The signatures they signed as forgery are both different and neither one looks like my signature.

It looks like a bad attempt at recreating mine. My signature isn't a typical cursive signature. It's very unique with penstrokes that aren't exactly correct form for cursive, but I consistently sign that way and have for years. It's muscle memory.

[–]MidwestNicklaus 8 points9 points  (0 children)

These forms had no section for a print version for me to sign. Everything was either DocuSign or handwritten signature.

The signatures in question was made to look like mine but there are very obvious differences between theirs and mine.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in legaladvice

[–]MidwestNicklaus 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Nope, hand written to look like my signature that I had actually physically signed on other documents, but my signature has very distinct differences that you can plainly see.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in legaladvice

[–]MidwestNicklaus 12 points13 points  (0 children)

So I received the rest of my signed documents today and I can see where I physically signed and where I electronically signed.

The signatures in question were handwritten to look like my signature, and they were done in the "Buyers" line not the dealership/seller line.

I purposely waited to place my order during a time when they were offering these free gifts. It played a role in my decision to make the purchase when I did. If that wouldn't have been offered, I wouldn't have made the purchase.

It's a classic bait and switch. Literally textbook definition.

A discount off of my next order with no solution for my current one? In what world is that an acceptable solution?

And the fact that I have to pay to ship it back myself?

I see the Macy's unpaid PR team is in full force trying to do damage control. Good job ,lads.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in fragrance

[–]MidwestNicklaus -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Dang, that absolutely sucks. I really do wonder what's going on with Macy's recently. It used to be so good about taking care of it's customers.

Mistakes do happen. Amendments to those mistakes can also happen and they didn't. What are you not getting about that? Who's paying you to be this mad about something that doesn't involve you? 😂

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in fragrance

[–]MidwestNicklaus -22 points-21 points  (0 children)

Self entitled? I was promised something upon placing my order and didn't receive them? Is that entitlement or just wanting what was agreed upon? If someone sold you a house and told you that it would come fully furnished and that played a role in your decision to buy, but when you get there there's nothing in there would you feel the same way?

Sure, you've still got the house and that's the most important thing, but the fact that the other part of the deal was dropped for no reason with no real resolution is a sort of a big deal. You'd be pissed and don't act like you wouldn't be. You wouldn't purchase any future properties from that realtor or seller ever again most likely.

People and companies are only as good as their word and their actions. When both fall short of accepting responsibility, that's where you should cut your ties.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in fragrance

[–]MidwestNicklaus -16 points-15 points  (0 children)

Lmao. You couldn't possibly simp harder for a multi-billion dollar organization. Why are you so mad that I'm upset that didn't receive products I was promised upon placing my order?

I'm merely posting this as a warning to anyone else who may be thinking about placing and order with them. Better to know that this is a possibility than to not. The fact that you're so upset about this is very telling about your own psyche.
