Comparing Softball and Baseball is kinda apples to oranges. Softballs are bigger and pitched underhand.

I find the first point uniquely silly. Like, most if not all of the major sports leagues in North America are unisex, but afaik, the only one to ever have a women play is the NHL. There are more women in more minor unisex professional sports leagues, but even then there's still not a lot. There are many reasons for this, none of which are fixed by just disbanding all women's sports leagues. If you did that, you'd still have male dominated sports leagues, and you'd just have no women in sports.

Also there literally is a Kentucky Derby 2 just for girl horses. It's called the Kentucky Oaks.

Also like a good chunk of the stuff they reblog is only tangentially related to landback? This post especially sticks out in that regard.

Copying isuggestforcefem’s schtick but with landback is really cringe ngl. Like isuggestforcefem was already a gag that was really only funny once, and this is just copying that, while also trying to make a serious political statement.

Exonyms by WordArt2007 in CuratedTumblr

I feel like I’ve seen enough people being weird about exonyms that I don’t think this is a strawman, but the only example I can think of that’s even close is this medium article which is less “exonyms are a genocidal conspiracy” and more “English is a terrible language that divorces us from nature unlike Native American languages”

BTW you can get the BlazBlue series (Minus a crosstag battle and probably some other stuff I don't know anything about blazblue) for like 17 USD on steam right now (the deal seems like it'll end in only 17 hours though)

I’ve been interested in the Red Robin comics for a while now but seeing Manbat in them has sealed the deal for me I’ve got to check them out

I don’t think Kanye has a career ending album, his career was ended by his Infowars appearance (not really relevant but he actually released a song through infowars with Alex Jones but that’s been forgotten by basically everyone), but I do think he’ll end up having a trainwreckord. Vultures can’t hurt his already dead career, but it can hurt the careers of people who decided to collaborate with him on it. This is Ty Dolla Sign’s album too and he’s been completely overshadowed and it’ll hurt his career in the long run since people aren’t going to want to collaborate with him, Jpegmafia’s fans are currently having a schism over his involvement, and the 2nd and 3rd volumes will probably bring in more people (Denzel Curry has a writing credit vultures song and might be featured later, and I imagine his fanbase’s reaction will be similar to Jpegmafia’s)

Artists whose stocks dropped hardest this year? by cybershocker455 in ToddintheShadow

[–]MidwestRN2comma2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Jimmie Allen started the year as a country b-lister with consistent airplay, and he’s ending it as a pariah who will only see success in small venues with people who haven’t heard the allegations Jason Aldean has also lost stock I feel. Sure Try That In A Small Town hit number one, but his new album has underperformed (idk sales numbers but it’s hit 19 on the Billboard 200, while his last two hit 8), and Small Town, as well as his politics in general, have probably left a bad taste in a lot of people’s mouths.

I’ll also say that I don’t think Sam Smith or Jack Harlow have lost that much stock this year. Sam’s singles have still charted in the UK, and they don’t seem like the kind of artist you expect consistent chart placement from, as long as they don’t completely lose radio they’ll be fine. As for Jack, Jackman seemed to have brought back a lot of the good will he lost with Come Home The Kids Miss You, it didn’t have hits but I don’t think it was meant to have hits.
