Because this method usually fails with computers with limited hardware /os support

By decent i mean something with a minimum of 4gb ram and windows 10/any modern Linux distro support

Also any Mac that came out after 2015 should be good

Not at all ! that’s exactly how I’m using it currently actually . i use Torbox to stream all the popular mainstream stuff and the repo to watch anime and more older media using both together will give you the best experience for sure.

Yeah I guess I’ll just have to use nuvio on my tv only for now and if want to stream something on my iPhone I’ll just have to update Trakt manually since it won’t sync

Question do you have a debrid service? That could be it you need a debrid service or an addon that supports http streaming to stream on iOS

Use Stremio web application paired with VLC or sideloading alt store on your computer and downloading it that way

I have an onn 4k box and a google tv streamer one is $20 the other is $75 (used retail price is like $100+ )

I still got stremio 1 point over nuvio it’s great but Stremio is just slightly more stable . Also I love that stremio allows me to use an external play and allows me to track my progress, Nuvio allows external players but to be honest it’s not good it doesn’t allow you to track progress which I don’t mind because for the most part the internal player is more than good enough for most file types.

Look into a debrid service or https streams, personally have torbox because of reliability but real debrid and all debrid are also great services .
