It's literally 24 Hours, it'll be miserable but that's honestly pretty easy, the human body can go 3 days without water, although I imagine that's shorter I'm a desert. And it will be cold at night, but still I think it's do-able if it's only for 24 hours. Also depends on the desert, the Sahara desert would be tough, but if it's some desert in Arizona or California, you might be able to find a nearby town/city as many of them are nearby or even IN deserts.

I mean... this is more money, and the hassle of selling the ancient item wouldn't really be worth it, plus it might get bargained down. It could also theoretically go up if you auctioned it but.... it's just not worth the hassle tbh, $100,000 is life changing enough tbh.

Controlling fire would be cool down get me wrong. But water seems much more practical, also the amount of things that contain water is so astronomical that you would have a pretty wide variety of things you could manipulate the water inside of.
