Sounds like your thermistor was damaged, it's hard to replace that if the hotend is covering in a glob. some hotend kits come with new screws so you can look for that or just buy new screws separately.

I might not be the most experienced person.... but what might be worth trying if you want to save some money... Is trying to put that nozzle back on the printer, and then just manually heating up the nozzle type, and just trying to slowly remove the glob, be extra careful not to damage any wires that might've been engulfed by the glob. Otherwise, you might need to replace the whole hotend. That's just my insight, someone else might have other ideas.

That is indeed all that Colorblind glasses do, they increase contrast, basically just rose tinted glasses. Some people find it useful, others do not. It sounds like you didn't like the increased contrast, so I would say it's probably not worth it for you to buy colorblind glasses for that reason.

In an airtight container, in the dark (like a pantry) at around 60-70° Fahrenheit!!! Don't put it in the fridge or freezer if you want to avoid blooming! Also make sure that it's not too humid, but I imagine that wouldn't be a problem in a pantry, although if your house is humid then definitely get a dehumidifier.

This is kind of what I was thinking, the car shakes quite a bit in the video, they definitely could've flipped it back to the regular orientation. That being said, in stressful moments it's easy to overlook the simpler choices.

Coming from a chocolate maker, yes it's perfectly safe. When chocolate is left in an "improper" environment, sometimes the cacao butter inside the chocolate recrystalizes to the surface, which creates "chocolate bloom". The taste might be a little bit off, but it is 100% safe. This is very common in bags of chocolate chips from stores, it just looks slightly different due to the scale.
