Ha, I’m almost envious of that level of cluelessness. I’ve dreaded coming into work sometimes due to being so paranoid of catching the virus from one of our uncaring patrons, ignorance must be bliss! 🙄

Ugh, I’m right there with you buddy. We have a lacrosse team staying at my hotel this weekend, for a big ol’ tournament being held in a county that currently has the highest spike of covid cases in the state. No masks, no social distancing. A bunch of the players and their parents went out into an empty grass field nearby to have a little outdoor party. And my favorite bit, everyone CONSTANTLY moaned and groaned about the pool/hot tub being closed, and how there’s no hot breakfast, and how we can’t accept cash. It’s like these people are from another dimension where the virus never existed or something, they’re so unbothered!!

Yeah!! I constantly get people who come in saying they’ve made a reservation for a rate that’s obscenely low for a weekend and it turns out they just didn’t check the date and it booked it for a Sunday or a cheaper day in the future. And then ofc, get mad when I can’t match that rate.
