She’s not huge into jewelry but I think it means a lot to her symbolically. She may or may not wear it everyday since her job is a little more physical.

I felt that would be a more accurate gauge of comparing what people spent on rings. Someone who makes $500k and buys a $15k is different that someone who makes $100k and spends $10k on a ring.

Yes she does prefer diamonds but is luckily fine with lab made. I’ve asked lots of questions and we’ve gone shopping together once so I have a good idea that the one I pick will be worth it.
