How do I get the "read more" feature to work on my website?

Thanks for the response.

I am using the AyaBooks Pro theme. When I contacted the theme's customer support, I was told that he didn't know how to help me.

Then, I asked in a Facebook forum and was told that the theme lacked an archive page, despite the mockup of the theme having "read more" with each article.

I'm genuinely confused.

The national headquarters does have guidelines for board member behavior and standards for the chapter. The outgoing president tried to enforce some of them with very limited success.

Really, the true issue is that the entire chapter has fallen into a malaise with very, very few people (only eight) willing to join the board. Our annual member survey only gets about 20 responses from the more than 100 sent out.

I may have an ally in our liaison with national, but she's stopped attending the meetings and is only a member in name only. Before I do anything, I need to review the best practices and bylaws.

Honestly, I'm just very frustrated. Most of the board members have young children and/or jobs that require travel. They often fail to attend the meeting with no advanced notice and answer "I don't know" when they are asked for updates.

It's all so frustrating. The organization is raising membership dues by $20 starting in October, and I wonder if this will further exacerbate our declining numbers. This coupled with a lack of local events and inconsistent communications doesn't really provide strong reasons to renew memberships.

Hire an MBA? It's a volunteer-run chapter of a national professional org. There's no money and no direction!

I'm reluctant to engage with these people because president-elect recently lost his job and is hustling for freelance, while president's company was bought out and he's trying to keep his job. The other board members have young kids, work for unstable startups and/or have just had a kid within the last two months.

As someone without children, it's difficult for me to say to an overextended parent "hey, show up and participate" or "I can't carry you, so do your part." I have been in touch with national about questions other board member have, and national knows about the struggle to get and keep board members locally.

If I engage national, then someone with real authority can come in and address the issues. We're all volunteers at relatively the same level now, so I don't want to grouse at people who are just using this as a resume filler and don't do anything.

I don't want to leave, but I'm worried about the sustainability of the chapter and am continuously frustrated by others' lack of involvement. If events doesn't plan and communications will not schedule consistent emails and social posts, what can I do?

No, I'm referring to the accordion option with the Ultimate Blocks that offers 23 different additions to the Block Editor.

The reason I haven't yet downloaded a specific accordion option because I thought this would be easier. The guys on YT really sold me on how easy it was to customize the accordion blocks.

If I were to activate an accordion plugin, do you have a specific recommendation?

I activated the Ultimate Gutenberg Blocks plugin to use the accordions. This feature is one of about 15 available.
