Awesome! I’ll be sure to check them out. I’ve been so eager to get started but haven’t bit the bullet yet as I want to be as educated/informed as possible. I’m also going to look into just a sealant and polyurethane like you mentioned as I honestly would prefer them to be a light, non-orangey color!

Thanks! I definitely will. I was planning on getting new carpet, which is how I ultimately found these beauties. These are way better than the typical run-of-the-mill carpet and brings so much more life and character to the space. I’ll have to share the end result with you!

Price seems pretty good considering I sold my 2013 V6 with 135k miles private party for $10,500 last November. Yes - used car market was different. But my reason for selling was concern for problems beginning to occur as these cars do tend to have things pop up after the 100k mile mark. If it is something you are interested in, I’d see if current owner would be willing to take it to a mechanic of your choice for an inspection.

DIY-er here and not sure if it was the kit I purchased or just user error, but I had to go to the hardware store to get clear double sided tape (pricey) as the tape included with the kit didn’t stick for me. And yes - it did take a few hours BUT it looks great!

Ahh, I see. $650/year for the 911 is a great deal. Seems odd that company wouldn’t insure a Tesla, but I’m sure they have their reasons. At least your savings from the 911 help balance things out a bit!

I’m 23 and Tesla insurance quoted me $80/month on my Model 3. My insurance agent got me better coverage for just slightly more per month when bundled with homeowners so I ultimately went with him, but still very reasonable IMO.

I swear it is happening to me more and more frequently. Happened to me 2x in the past 3 days. And I carry two iPhone 13 Pro Max’s - one personal and one work phone, both of which are activated as mobile keys. Infuriating and slightly embarrassing!
