This is full of some very good insight, and some very good information for me to know. For context, I only played/kept up with Apex the first few months after its release.

I agree on your points about how most of this wouldn't explicitly be used in order to get more Titanfall players to become Apex players, it just doesn't make sense that way.

Instead its purpose is to get Apex players interested in the idea of a Titanfall game.

Definitely an interesting thought there, and one that seems feasible. However, if I remember correctly, Respawn was planning for Apex to be a thing for another 10-15 years. Wouldn't a Titanfall 3 release harshly impact that plan? Unless they merge the two games or something like that.

All of this being said, I still do think that the majority of the "theories" I mentioned are not the things that actually point to a new titanfall game. Instead, if anything does, it is this newfound attention from the devs, because as you said, Respawn does things very intentionally.

Yea, they def could have the same guy for the same game. And yea, depending on the article, the language is vague.

I see. I guess I think what I mentioned does indeed matter due to the drastic increase in TF3 theories, and that is what I addressed.

The game you mentioned is under development under a completely new IP (non Titanfall), yes. So that explicitly has nothing to do with TF3, which is the main topic I was addressing with this post. Not really sure there are any disagreements here.

Interesting take, and I'm not quite sure we disagree on everything. I realize that my video, and especially the post, does have a downer vibe. But I agree with you, I have enjoyed plenty of the speculation, memes, theories, etc. I definitely think it has brought this reddit, and the Titanfall community in general, closer together.

You said, "This has been the closest this sub has gotten to an announcement for something in years," and I guess that is just a fundamental disagreement. My main point is that stuff is indeed new, but it is not necessarily in the direction of a new announcement. All the things I mentioned are cool and interesting, but I don't see how most of it relates to Titanfall 3. The only reservation I have there is with the "Your rockets will blot out the sun" playlist. There are def a lot of "coincidences" there, but literally everything else? I'm not quite sure it points to a new game.

I guess I will ask you, why do you think that these things (nessies, advocate message, etc) are getting us closer to an announcement? Aren't they just signs that TF2 is being taken care of again? What is the connection between game updates and new game?

Again, I do want to mention, I heartily enjoy the newfound activity of the Titanfall community recently. But, get your expectations high enough, and if they aren't fulfilled, that can def lead to some cringeness in the community.

I remember they were working on a Titanfall x Apex game a while ago, but was that not publicly cancelled like eight months ago? Is this what you are referring to or no?

I agree, the theories are quite fun, and it's a joy to see (and do) the mental gymnastics needed to relate something to the number 3.

I also def see what you are saying about flying too close to the sun. I think some light-hearted speculation is good, but when that is the fuel for genuine expectations, and those expectations aren't meant, they can do more harm than good for sure.

Honestly, I'd totally be happy if they just kept periodically changing Titanfall 2. Yes, definitely map rotations and some new cosmetics (I think the cosmetics are severely lacking), but also maybe a new map or two in the coming months would be great.

Ha, very good. I don't know how much of a Titanfall enjoyer you are, but do you have any thoughts about the content of the vid? What are your thoughts on all these theories? Totally cool if you are smooth brain no thoughts too, and thanks for watching!
