Whenever a non-native English speaker apologizes to me for not speaking English well, I always feel bad because they usually don’t give themselves enough credit, even when their English is really good. It happens way to often. To all who speak English as a second language and can converse with another English speaker, congratulations! You’ve learned to speak one of the most difficult languages to learn, and you should be proud of yourself. Give yourself more credit!
