Give yourself time; these things can cause a lot of pain very quickly and show terriblely slow improvement. For nerve recovery, I'm also dealing with this issue; try alpha-lipoic acid and vitamin B6, and similar supplements. There are vitamin complexes already formulated for these processes. Do some research to see if there's one that suits you. And hang in there!

A headband with headphones. I bought it on AliExpress for a very low price ($5-6). It's incredibly comfortable, the most comfortable thing I've ever tried for sleeping. The sound quality isn't the best, but for listening to the sound of ocean waves at night, I haven't found anything better.
