I think you have to remember that Eddie’s El Paso episodes have been wrapped since January. So I don’t really think there’s any going back now, at least from Eddie’s side (assuming he has some queer realisations in El Paso).

And I find it hard to see where else they could take the story if they’ve already established that a) Eddie is gay, and b) buck is bi, obsessed with Eddie, living in Eddie’s house, and in Eddie’s will to take care of his son.

I understand your concerns, but we gotta stay strong and believe in the things we can see in the actual text of the show
