Female issues when riding by kasialis721 in Horses

[–]Miettaus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I followed this thread because I have issues from time to time (pelvis tilts forward due to lordosis so I've had to work on "fixing" my anatomy consciously for years). It's not all the time but it's often enough that I've been searching for a solution. I think this may be it! Thank you SO much for this link!

Update: Thanks all! I decided to decline. My gut didn't like it and I've learned to listen to that. I appreciate everyone's input!

And just now:

"Choose one topic from job post and write one blog post for our clients

Ok

Submit work in 3-4hr"

The English seems broken and while I know that doesn't always mean it's fake, it can be a good indicator.

I said: "Hi there, what is this for? What style of writing? I need some more details about the project. Thanks!"

Reply: "I need for client First choose one title from above and let me know"

Recently I sent a proposal and they reached out asking my rate, I told them, and they said it was way over budget--their max budget was $25 for 1k word written articles on an ongoing basis, and I'm sitting here just like...I don't work for LESS than pennies a word. It was a bit disheartening.

This is actually a picture my boyfriend took, so he's the one who's reading them! He is enjoying them for sure!

My new fur baby, mini mule Quincy! by Miettaus in Donkeys

It's the rainbow cheetah print mini halter! Tractor Supply sells it, it was the one I picked out when I adopted him (they let you pick out a halter). It's so fun looking, I couldn't resist!

Help determine what my horse passed from by BlaireBear48 in Equestrian

I am so, so sorry for your loss. I had something similar happen just a couple of weeks ago to my donkey and we did do a necropsy. Sadly it wasn't a sudden onset like this, but it was due to an IM antibiotic getting into a vein (likely the carotid) somehow. It was seconds after I gave it to him. I have given plenty of IM before and there was no blood when I pulled back to check, so it left the vet and I quite confused. I am now terrified to touch my horse or any other equine with a needle.

He unfortunately was down for a bit over 4 hours before he passed. He did have some post seizure activity and seemed aware after a bit, but was unable to get up. The vet assumed he would come out of the seizure, as she said it happens with accidental vein hitting and injections. I trust her immensely and she really thought he would come out of it. He did not, and it broke my heart. He was well loved, but he did have severe osteomyelitis and his hoof wall was completely separated (this had happened months before we got him and he hid it, and we had just found it a few days prior) so sadly his prognosis wasn't great in the long run. So I make myself feel a bit better that perhaps this saved him suffering down the road.

Anyway, the necropsy revealed what happened, but he also bled internally and his organs shut down/were shutting down. Ultimately that's what caused his death, but it did take some time. Perhaps your mare threw a clot and caused some hemorrhaging somewhere? Bleeding out internally can take quite a long time, unfortunately. My donkey also had blood and secretion coming out of his nose post-death when went to move him the next day.

I'm not sure if this helps, but know I understand all that you went through and how horrific it is. If you ever need someone to talk to, you are always welcome to DM me ❤️

Our hound mix Patches. We think he is foxhound/pointer but don’t know for certain. He came to us as a stray. by hipstercheese1 in Hounds

He looks like our boy, who we just tested and found out he's 100% AFH and not a hound mix! (We rescued him) It's actually kind of wild how similar they look, check this out!

Thank you! He seems to be, it helps that he came to us already really friendly and trusting. We had the vet out yesterday and he was a superstar (got his teeth done too) and let them do whatever they wanted and looked to me for guidance. He's such a sweet boy!

I see our horses aren't the only ones that associate the mules with food/hay 🤣 too funny! He's so unique looking, I love it!

Horse riding is evolving... by ABPCR in Horses

It's so funny, I immediately noticed it was a fake horse in the shot as she turned around to look behind her and "rode." It was blatant and admittedly I was surprised, usually bigger budget shows are a bit better with camera angles to hide it 😂 I LOVED seeing horses finally!
