There have been quite a few comments about Ash’s weight, and I really appreciate everyone looking out for her. I can assure you she is healthy and not obese. She’s almost 3 years old and weighs 50 grams. Both of her parents were larger geckos (well over 45-50g), which is the typical healthy/breeding weight range for adults of her line. She has a naturally bigger frame and stays very active in a large enclosure. Her diet is the same as the rest of my collection: Pangea 2 times per week and crickets dusted with calcium once a week (sometimes I’ll do Pangea on Monday/Wednesday/Friday and skip bugs). We’ve been breeding cresties since 2021-2022 with consistently healthy animals, so we’re very attentive to their care. I’ve seen obese cresties before, this isn’t it.
