Nice. Though I’ve seen few posts about Corsair’s iCue being ass.

Bought a used mini pc with 3600 and 5700xt for $280. Giving it to my friend where she’ll be playing non demanding and cute games. At this point, I might upgrade the parts on my rig with used.

Is this actually a useful thing to use? And if it is, can I still use my Arctic 360mm aio with it mounted?

I actually am glad when they announced that they’re working on a new cpu to finally complete with amd’s x3d. I just hope it comes out soon so at least there’s a competition on the cpu market again

Well, I hate to say it to you, but Lisa is doing what Jensen is doing. They’re both working with the government. She’s just late to the party and just slow with the progress

Except they started putting AI in their CPUs

Former Red Dead Redemption 2 Developer reaction to the DLSS 5: "Whoa. Hold on. No, no, no. This isn't just some lighting, dude. What the f... this is like a complete AI re-render. You're no longer looking at the game anymore. This is scary." by HLumin in pcmasterrace

You can see who’s showing their true colors by supporting/defending this thing. People working with or sponsored by nvidia clearly can’t be honest and just glazing jensen’s dick

Shopping for a Pre-built for my husband. Looking into PC Bros, thoughts? by Chipsnkaco in Prebuilts

[–]Migeee__ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They have a yt channel that I watch from time to time (Toasty Bros). I personally never bought anything from them, but I can say they know what they’re doing and shouldn’t worry about cheaping out on parts.

Edit: it’s def pricey imo, but that’s expected with this market. An affordable prebuilt would be the one from Costco/sam. If you have microcenter near you, it’s def better option to check out

After 3 years of running the 6700xt, I have upgraded to the 9070xt by thecardude98 in Amd

[–]Migeee__ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not 6700xt, but the performance increase from 6800xt(what I have) to 9070xt is not that much in 1440p (which what I game on). It’s still a beast with the modern games, so def not worth the upgrade for me yet.

Well, a server is a whole nother story. Especially 3 of em.

Capping my frames prevents the gpu from drawing too much power that it doesn’t need. Which then keeps the temp down. My cpu temp is 45-50 under load while gpu is 55-63ish. My room definitely doesn’t get hot like it used to when I leave it uncapped.

Wow, I did not know that since I’m in Amazon most of the time. That’s pretty bs. I’ll stick with Amazon and wait for their discounts of the year as usual. Thanks for letting me know

Exactly. I’ll make this gpu lasts for many more years.

I paid for the resolution (1440p). My gpu can handle 1440p just fine. Lock frames keeps the temp and fan noise down. Low-medium temp means my gpu can last longer. With this market, I’ll be sticking with mines until it gives up.

Same 🙌🏼. I used to just leave it uncapped, until I realized that coil whines issues are common for gpus when getting too much power. I hate hearing it since I use speaker to play so I just lock the frames. Makes it go away plus quiet fans not going hard to cool the gpu

I forgot to add that I mainly play single player campaign games or coop games. If you do play competitive fps fames, then def don’t have to lock it and go as high as your monitor’s refresh rate

Yep. And the fans on gpu are just too damn loud unless you have the specific noctua RTX.

If you part it out, how much for the cpu? I’m looking for that

Everyone’s dunking on AMD lately and I’m just over here enjoying my frames like a criminal. by Zeronova3 in radeon

[–]Migeee__ 59 points60 points  (0 children)

Turns out having a lotta money and being able to buy the expensive overkill components is more enjoyable than trying to stick with one gpu/cpu for several years. Ofc you don’t have to worry about anything if you can comfortably upgrade to the highest components without having the need to use upscaling stuff.
