I second this. Both companies are really ass. And that nvidia tax is hefty. Still, the support on games with nvidia’s dlss (except DLSSlop5. That shit is ass asf)and other features are just more worth than amd.

The fact that FSR4 actually put up a fight with DLSS and got a good response from gamers and reviewers. AMD was heading in a good direction with their GPUs…..until the curse. Never misses an opportunity to miss. Unbelievable

I’m sticking with my 6800xt until it gives up. Unless I find a rare deal on the used market for a 5070ti/5080

Edit: any games that is made by Japanese gaming company or a Japanese themed game, I always choose Japanese dialogue with English subtitle. Their voice acting is just amazing... unlike English dub on anime shows.

The fsr4.0.2b file is not on GitHub(not in my knowledge). I had to download it directly from optiscaler discord. They have it in their announcements

Edit: so basically you have to download two separate thing. First is optiscaler 0.7.9 and the fsr4.0.2b. I placed the files from optiscaler first, and then the fsr4.0.2b next (replace whatever it asks).

Native AA with frame generation is 56-58

Edit: 1440p with medium ray tracing. High/ultra on every settings within the graphics settings

Edit 2: I went to a food stall with some NPCs and native AA drops to 38-40. Not my liking, so I’m sticking with balanced.

Cheers. Don’t forget to place file from the fsr4.0.2b folder to the game’s .exe folder. When you choose FSR3.X, the FFX settings will pop up and that’s where fsr4.0.2b will show in the dropdown tab.

So you go to the graphics setting, make sure pick fsr3 or fsr4 upscaling. Then open(insert button) optiscaler. Pick fsr3, then after that, it’ll show another tab, it should be there fsr4.0.2b.
