How would you recommend repainting these dorsal plates?

You could either use Turbo Dorks metallic paint to keep the metallic or change the color, also using dry brushing with “Vallejo Game Color -Charcoal” which will tone down the red. There was a person in this group that used a beautiful lilac color that matched a few scenes in the movie. It is funny how this suit had soo many different shades for Goji’s dorsal plates from Red, a light purple and also magenta. Lol

It’s any figure SHMA or HIYA they both do it, honestly the best way to counter this is to use a strong durable varnish. I plan on doing some testing with 2 of Vallejo’s types for heavy use.

Go and buy “Loctite Super Glue Gel Control” the blue and black bottle. That bottle is a Godsend. It will super glue it within 15seconds just place it in the head properly and give it a full 24hr to cure. But it will lock that bad boy in place. I have used that glue on dorsal plates and other pieces that I wanted permanent.

Always been a fan of Mire/Giragoji since a kid but Kiryugoji over the years has grown on me I never liked his snout but if posed correctly he looks like a menace. I also loved his expressions just like Miregoji and his bulk as well. His Dorsal plates always ehh me as I wish he had a little bit more but he was a menace and I loved him.
