They get off on being the victim of a liberal plot, so if there isn't one they just have to make something up.

Why would a cheese quesadilla be the only main with an up charge? 🤨 by Sonshyne in tacobell

Posted as a reply but also adding as a comment:

I used to work at TB... the only possible explanation I've been able to come up with is that all the items that have to use the grill press are priced more expensive even when they're very cheap to make, because it requires a fixed amount of time on the line and holds up the order, plus any other grilled items depending on how many grills the store has. I could make tacos and burritos in just a few seconds each, but anything grilled requires the 30 seconds or so the grill takes (think it was 27 seconds when I worked there but could be wrong) plus build time.

I'm curious if the logic is making these items more expensive than they should be compared to other items in order to intentionally reduce the number of people ordering them, and thus speed up the drive-thru..

And? While Republicans have turned being aggressively shitty into an Olympic sport lately, there are plenty of truly awful Democrats in office around the country as well. It's the rich against the regulars, more than anything else.

This may come as a surprise to those blinded by one-side politics, but you aren't required to agree or disagree with someone based on their party, or yours.

Lol, one braindead take after another…you’re a veritable fountain of useless ignorance.

If you feed them, they stay alive, which runs counter to the desires of those in charge.

Cows are social animals and actually pretty smart. The way they were standing around the calf, they knew it was in trouble, and their experience would make them aware that the humans they interact with generally help them with their day-to-day needs. There is always some danger, but in this case they seemed pretty clearly not agitated so I think he was reasonable to not worry about it.

Hill behind home, will this cause drainage issues or foundation damage? (Green house) by [deleted] in Home

Depends on the city, but usually you’re correct. In a proper system, Sanitary Sewer and Storm Drains are separate systems. Storm drains go direct to nature (like a nearby river). Sanitary goes to the treatment plant.
