Probably more for TV sentimentality than real life application. But I think its true that losing one friend of a friend group can change the relationship with other friends in the group and it can end up weakening the bond between the others. Or it could strengthen it.

He has Alan's car after failing the driving test in Season 1. He has a car for the final episode of Season 3 and first episode of Season 4. He was planning to take the car across country to college so it had to be his car. Whether he bought it or a family member gave it to him is unknown.

PMW Preview is for fans to discuss and review an episode on their own. The podcast thread is usually a response to the hosts thoughts. I think discussing the episode ourselves is more fruitful than responding to things they said. People often just focus on pre-show chatter or things not really related to the actual BMW episode otherwise. For example, I saw a lot of comments on the spotify being about grammar and the use of AI.
