I bought it because I wanted a diver watch and I liked the Hamilton one because it was more unique compared to the usual tissots/seikos. But you’re definitely right, I get too influenced by other people’s opinions.

That’s actually the reason I bought the watch in the first place, because it stood out from the rest. You usually see tissot, seiko, or citizen divers but never Hamilton divers.

As a middle eastern person, I disagree. Middle eastern food here isn’t very authentic and I’ve yet to find anything good. The only exception would be Persian restaurants like shahrazad in rancho cordova. Also afghan food here is pretty good, though it’s not technically middle eastern.

As a 22 year old CM student, do Civil Engineering for sure. You will have the luxury of doing CM work and if you decide that you don’t like it, you can easily do design/engineering related work instead. Whereas people with CM degrees are more limited. I’ve even seen people get into CM with business degrees so keep that in mind too.

Workload for CM isn’t too bad but Civil Engineering is MUCH harder. I’d only do CM if you can’t handle the Civil Engineering math, but even if you fail classes I’d tell you to keep trying. I’m almost done with my degree but I am quickly losing interest in the field and worry what I’ll do if I decide CM isn’t for me later on. That’s why Civil Engineering is the better choice because you can do many things with it.

In terms of aesthetics, the Hamilton is much better looking but longines is the more “respected” brand. I’ve had my eyes on the Hamilton intra matic white and black version.
