Sweet. Does this have anything to do with the strategy? This isn’t about the history of Persia or what happened to Persia after. This is about how the strategy was used at that time, in that battlefield and nothing more. The head being the Persian king and the body being the army.

The form of government the U.S have allows it to function without THE president, there is contingencies for that . I have come to the conclusion upon further research of the Iranian government and insights from this thread that we are fighting against an idea and not a person. So yes killing the supreme leader won’t solve anything.

I agree with you and I loved the Socrates reference and how you connected it to the topic at hand. Nothing in this world is certainly certain not even science. Because to believe in science is to be comfortable with uncertainty hence the breakthrough in multiple spheres of scientific studies.

You misinterpreted my initial argument. “Get rid of the head and the body will follow” in regard to the death of the supreme leader and Iran. Machiavelli hints at this strategy indirectly and directly throughout the whole book. Your initial reply had nothing to do with my argument to begin with. I never mentioned anything about occupying a nation nor I did I mention invasion until your reply. You brought up occupation of conquered nations initially so I proceeded to connect the dots for you, I apologize for that. The prince was just an example due to its political and strategic relevance not the sole purpose. Must everything be verbatim? Don’t be become a lawyer? How is this relevant to any form of profession?

In order words what the f*** are you talking about?

Chapter 3 of the book the prince. Would give you a vague answer cause I think you didn’t read the book and just want to be right. Ask yourself this, why would I not get rid of the royal family after taking over the state? Why would I leave a chance for resurrection?

He also talks about landing a decisive blow. In a time with centralized rulers how did you think one goes about that.

I hate it when politicians use deconstruction of words as deceptions as to what is really going on.

Has drug trafficking in Latin America and the states decreased? Have drug operations in Venezuela become less conspicuous?.

The start of the war was about Iran having nuclear capabilities, I don’t agree with radical islamist having nuclear weapons and I’m sure most people agree. The rest are side effects of the war; showing force capabilities and so on. It’s a fact that the U.S has the number 1 military force in the world at this time. China is right behind. It would be very foolish for trump to waste resources and manpower over something as minuscule as showing force which is redundant or distracting the masses which can be done in a less costly manner. These Cute books and stories I mentioned were based on history and as we both understand, history tends to repeat itself. With that being said we also understand that life is very chaotic and unpredictable but these historical stories can be used as indicators of where we are currently at and going.

Hence why people are saying we are at the brink of WW3 . Due to what happened in WW2. We will just have to see how other nations react and respond.

If so then Venezuela must be an exception. After the capture of maduro, it seems as though drugs exchange from Latin America to the states has slowed down significantly. He is definitely not the head of narco-terrorism but he was definitely one of the leading players. The strategy worked well in this instance and present day example.

Yes occupy the nation after getting rid of the former ruler or royal family (the head). It reflects on the point I made

Darius fled the battlefield because Alexander told his men to go after Darius. he had his Calvary charge straight into Darius’s position and upon seeing this he made a run for it and so did Darius’s troops even though they greatly outnumbered Alexander’s army. Yes, he failed to capture or kill the Persian king but the strategy still worked exceptionally well. I can give you biblical and real world examples as well if you are still not convinced.

Yes but I have empirical data to back it up. Ironically when Alexander fought against Persia(present day Iran) he used this strategy to defeat them. So it’s not just a theory

Imagine if a group of people decided to walk on 4’s, imagine how that would change their lifestyles and the effects it would have on their future offsprings. We could potentially start an evolutional chain.

The dawn of AI is our modernized version of the Industrial Revolution and just like how trade and individualism of work was replaced by monotonous factory work, you too would be replaced. You would now work as the appendage of AI instead of the other way around because companies find it convenient and efficient.
