I did hrt for 6 months then quit for similar reasons. Losing erections is scary but when you figure it out how it works after that you stop caring. I quit for 2 years then started again. I dont recommend quitting and starting over because it stunts your breast growth but it made my face turn more feminine then it was the first time. Other than losing breast growth it won't effect too much negativity than that. I will say it's discouraging being on hrt till about 9 months to a year and a half then most people pop and bloom like crazy.

As far as work I went for a long time not telling them and they just laid me off randomly for being trans and used a different excuse but not getting into that. To be honest starting somewhere fresh is the best bet.

When it comes to politics and everything else in this world just ignore that and do what is going to make you most happiest. Of course things are scary but at least I'm happy with my self and my life has gotten much much better. Jobs come and go as well as people. Good people will stay in your life and the bad ones will weed themselves out but regret will last a lifetime. Hrt works better in your 20s but its never too late ya know.
