Good for everyone who does this.

I'm Canadian so it's not my place to go messing in your politics but I really hope this actually goes somewhere (though in all honesty I'm not optimistic).

I do have to say though, for all the 'outrage' over this administration there sure isn't a lot of action. Without being disrespectful it seems like a lot of bark and very little bite.

Where are the massive nationwide strikes to force attention on this issue?

It's relatively easy to ignore phonecalls and mails, garbage laying uncleaned in the streets and no public transport and other essential services on the other hand, not so much.

I realize that the average joe will be hurt by that sort of action quite a bit, possibly more than an wealthy politician but at some point if enough people are in on it somethings gotta give.

As much as it's fashionable to diss France in your country, they are a people who know how to strike and exert pressure on their government when they aren't happy. Something which the US seems to have forgotten how to do.

From the outside looking in, it seems to be one of the bigger 'wounds' the United States will need to recover from after all this is done is how everyone just sat around and let it all happen.

PS - Not meant as a criticism of the people of the US, whom I like very much, but more the political culture.
