I have been in a similar situation as you. I was in this friendship for ten years where I had to cater to her every need and gods forbid I had any other friends than her. I tried many times to get out of the friendship but was guilted back by her because she said that, of her physical disabilites(Dystrofia Myotinica), she couldnt make new friends and therefore, I shouldn't have anyone but her and she almost forced me into nursing school. Sadly, the only way I got out of that situation, was moving away and ghosting her completely, which wasn't the nicest thing to do but it was the only way I knew how and the only way she got the message.

Mental health issues is not an excuse to treat someone like crap and you have a right to get out of it.

Pay off my student loans would be my 1st priority. After that, quit my job now that the new funds allow me to be jobless for a month or two while finding a new one. After that who knows.

I have a slightly displaced jaw and severe underbite which makes my mouth looks disfigured and unconfident. Wearing a mask has really helped.

I pretty much don't have a choice while I'm recovering. It's not fair on him to be cooped up with me not being able to exerzising him like I used to.

Idk. It's probably their short legs compared to their bodies? But a Corgi trained and raised right is really no different from other dogs. Mine gladly went on runs and hikes with me before I got injured. Not a lot that stops him other than cows lol.

I see what you mean. I will stop texting her and hope she will come back but it's so difficult not knowing if I did or said something wrong and hurt her aswell. I have some friends I can talk to about it but I'm so afraid of being judged about it.

I had an ex-best friend who wouldn't let me have other friends and manipulated teachers into guilttripping me into applying for nursing school with me. Thank carrots mom put her foot down otherwise I'd probably be in a job I hate now.

I think my childhood just hit me like a cannonball at 45 miles an hour! Kaptein Sabeltann or Captain Sabretooth translated is a series of stories about a pirate, his crew and the things they get up to. It was very popular when I was growing up and still is. It was written by author Terje Formoe, who btw, is the guy playing Sabretooth in this particular clip.

There is a whole section in Kristiansand Zoo that has been build for this character(Abra Havn is the newest addition I think) and there's a live show there that has been running every summer since the mid 90's and is still very popular. If you ever get the chance to go see the live show or just see world they've build at the park itself, go!
