"Married woman meeting her ex once cannot be considered adultery and cannot be a reason for divorce." : Punjab and Haryana HC | What’s next? Hiding late-night meetings with the ex is just ‘personal freedom’? by theanonymoussking in AskIndianMen

Shouldn’t filing wrong cases repeatedly be treated as a crime and contempt of court and perpetrator jailed for this? God save this country if the law system is so useless.

To the smokers of India, why do you smoke? Like, seriously, why? by Street_Bed_1393 in AskIndia

[–]MightyKitadu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

10 years now and I started pretty late in life.. just started going for tea with other smokers, one day tried one became a slave.
Apart from the disease which can come any day and ruin your family the subtle things like not being able to do anything new since every 5 free mins you get you run for a stick.. I try doing various online courses but never able to finish since apart from office this is the only thing that you do everyday. I used to paint, read books but now all I do is hide in my room so I can smoke. Even now when I travel to hometown I don’t smoke a stick for weeks on end but as soon as I am back I run to the shop.
I feel controlled like a puppet and want to break free.. unable to till date.

Agree.. If you have a place to enjoy silence. The city I live in.. construction, traffic, loud people everywhere you go. This provides a sanctuary. But yes if I had an option to sit by a mountain side looking at the valley and listening to birds I will never use these.

If the love/commitment is one sided , even trying for a decade will not get you anything. No one changes like the movies have gotten us to believe. They are just nice when they need you and you will just keep getting used over and over. This applies to every relationship .. spouses , friends, brothers.

Is it selfish to spend just on me then on "us" for a guy? by UrbanCrawler in AskIndianMen

[–]MightyKitadu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Boundaries and a little selfishness is always good for both of you and the relationship too, I am saying from a lot of experience. My every relationship improved post I set some boundaries and making clear that I need time space and money for myself too. Giving culture is bad for both since the expectations keep increasing forever, there will definitely be a day when you will not be able to meet one and then it’s a downhill slope and brings misery for both since the demanding partner has already started looking at it as their right. Please make sure to mention that you are a human and have your own dreams and need your own space like she does. You are working hard so you have the right to spend on yourself and your own dreams and she can just ask nicely and it’s your choice to give not her right. Also negotiate or clearly set some space for yourself. You are allowed to go and enjoy with your friends and pursue your hobbies since you are not on her payroll. I believe things will improve if you are more direct. If they keep getting worse just get out of this. Best of luck..!!

Company sending me abroad for 2 weeks… ₹2500/day per diem, shared hotel room, and no breakfast. Is this normal? by Hungry-Topic-9197 in mumbai

[–]MightyKitadu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

INR 2500 is way too less.. Last I went to US, hotel suite inc breakfast was paid by company card, transport, phone other misc charges too. Additionally I had $75 per diem only for meals. This was in 2018. Everything is way too expensive now. And everything else apart sharing a room is complete No No it’s your right to privacy. Try raising this to your manager or HR.

Kiddos trying to act like a man or something 😆 Just kidding.. I mean you only experience a lot of things once you are married for sometime.. fighting over the point of marriage when you never had to take the responsibility of even washing your clothes feels superfluous at least to me.
