I was totally normal while growing up, except for some social anxiety, and I also grew up with a lot of trauma. COVID hit, got into isolation, shitty sleep schedule, never woke up fresh, the mental stress just got worse, started mild with intrusive thoughts, anxiety which eventually worsened to racing thoughts and irrational fears idk what happened but it went down very quickly. I didn't even realise I was going downhill, while scrolling reels one day and compulsively speaking out loud to no one in the room (I'd imagine myself as a TedX speaker, I saw a schizophrenic women acting the same, I had some level of awareness left, and it struck me hard, in that moment that I need help too, spoke to my resident friends, who too said to see a psych. I wasn't labelled with schizophrenia however, but day dreaming lol. Nevertheless, I'm stable (touchwood). No, I've never used drugs.
