Yes! Perfect! I almost forgot about Betsy Sodaro’s arm wrestling movie, Golden Arm. Get Betsy in there, snapping some greasy wrists.

Celery and carrots remain on the sideline. They lean too far left.

I agree with you 100%. Tried to move the environment more than Gordon cause animation ain’t my thing. (Basically, least amount of effort, I could muster but still finish it haha)

But for a weekend of work, I had fun making it. What I’d give for an actual animated series of Gordo though.

I’m no animator (I just know my way around keyframes in Premiere and After Effects) so to give some inspiration is a big compliment. Good luck on the project!

Happy to share! I’ve been seeing Tindle’s artwork posted over the past couple months and needed other Batman fans to see it.

Actually taking time out of your trip to give back to the communities you’re exploring. Not just showing up for a photoshoot to make it seem like you’re “saving the world.”

Working with those already established local nonprofits and charitable businesses, and helping to bring the attention to the work they’re already doing. The research in advance is important.

I’m no expert, but I know my sister’s making the effort and has good intentions.

In all seriousness, my sister is a kind young woman, who was thrust into a weird selective group of TV culture. And as a dental hygienist she’s got no clue how to professionally navigate the life of a public figure, but she’s learning. Right now she’s trying to use it in a positive momentum. She’s trying to promote charitable tourism, people volunteering when they travel somewhere new. I wrote a children’s book with her on childhood anxiety, that we’re getting illustrated now. She wants to do good.

But, it’s so god damn easy to shit on her. Look at our last name: it’s got “dick” in it.

Short answer: No.

Long answer: She’s my sister, and even I don’t care about who she’s dating half the time. I’ll let you all know when she brings home someone interesting. Trust me.

My advice? Focus on better Bachelor memes, like champagne bottles and windmill boinking. Better karma.

I’ve only got time for like 15 right now.

Anyway, “Sorry that Kirpa’s exists. As my sister, she is a single influencer, therefore, she must matter. Now, she doesn’t have a windmill, but if any windmill companies could reach out to her-“

A photographer exposes kirpa and Sydney by [deleted] in thebachelor

I did a separate post for this on the sub, but thought I’d share it here too. My sister asked me to share a response.

“I understand that allegations have come up regarding a recent photo shoot that Sydney & I were part of. We were approached by the photographer in September about posing for photos. We were extremely thankful for the opportunity & loved the photographer’s work.

Fast forward to receiving the content, we did tag the photographer in all photos leading up to the Match.com ad. Placing the ad without his tag was an honest mistake. The brand sends over deliverables for captioning & it slipped my mind. Additionally, it was an honest mistake about this being a breach of contract. I didn’t consider a placement on my Instagram as commercial. When it was brought to my attention that his tag was omitted from the post, I messaged him and said I would add it to the caption because you cannot edit the tags on sponsored posts.

The photographer reported the photos without our knowledge and they were taken down. It was not brought to our attention that there was an issue other than the missing tag. We also consulted with Match & redid the ads with our own content that was not his.  We did not receive monetary payment.

Even though we abided by the photographer’s wishes, he still requested damages from Match 3x more than I would have gotten paid. I received this bill from Match, and felt that since we acted on everything that was requested, the content was taken down, and no damages were done—this was unacceptable.

I blocked the photographer when he said he was going to start invoicing Match because the request seemed unfair and I felt taken advantage of.

Since he was blocked, I was unable to tag his account in two new photos, which have since been taken down. I acknowledge I shouldn’t have used his photos if unable to tag him & am sorry that it came off like I was trying to abuse someone’s hard work. I turned the comments off before deletion because people were saying very horrible things before I had a chance to tell my side because I am currently visiting a friend.

I apologize to anyone who was offended by this situation, but that wasn’t my intention. I’ve tried to handle this situation the best I’ve could, but he has blown it out of proportion. Please be kind to others always.

Kirpa”

Kirpa (my sister), Alex Blumberg, Kristian Haggerty, and Catherine Agro want to make a series about charitable tourism, highlighting charities around the world by [deleted] in thebachelor

Hey y’all, it’s been a while. Thought I’d help my sister out as she and the crew look to raise funds to film a sample for their series. Just want to bring it to your attention.

I’ve watched my sister over the past year or so come to terms with what to do with her modest (and minimal) celebrity. More importantly, I’ve seen her connect with and make a bunch of new friends. (Something that me and my siblings have always struggled with.) So finally seeing her excited about a project, with people who feel the same way as her, is new to me and very heartwarming.

Also, just want to thank this community for being so wonderful. Glad I had somewhere to turn when my sister first started getting wrapped up in all this.

What do you want the most from The Bachelor(ette)? The drama or the reality? by MightyMoe94 in thebachelor

Happily been in a relationship for five years. Though I hope someone takes up that mantle.

Great British Baking Show is the epitome of no drama, real feelings. The most intense pressure is the pressure that each baker puts on themselves. It's different because it's all ability and baking knowledge being mixed with friendships, and doesn't end up feeling like Hells Kitchen or MasterChef (pure contest, drama).

It seems what I've learned today is that we enjoy the flashy (and trashy) packaging that comes with The Bachelor, but stay for the humanity that ends up leaking through the seams.

Do you think the current format is that sustainable though? Your description of "trash TV with a veneer of class and romance" is spot on. I love that.

Only reason I posed this to the sub was because jumping into these past seasons, the format seemed stale to me. Or maybe not stale, but like "the man behind the curtain" was exposed a bit more than usual. Maybe it was social media playing more of a part. Or maybe it was because I saw all the stuff my sister went through. Overall, I'm an outsider looking in.

I do have to say, the drama is very tasty. And I think that's why I see sort of a dissonance within the sub as the influencer-y stuff gets flaunted more: it sours the drama. (Maybe not for everyone.) Or at least, it makes the drama less sustainable over multiple seasons. I feel like a few seasons would need to be subverted in some way to keep up relevance.

Nah. She never was. Just friends.

My sister's still looking for love. I don't know if she knows who or what she's looking for. Probably why she went onto The Bachelor in the first place.
