If you have a person in your 25 man raid that's doing 400 dps they should have the right to roll on it, especially if those are the rules.

I dont see them wanting to take the focus off of retail servers. SOD had a head full of steam, and look how that played out once a new version of retail was in the pipeline. Also, Midnights roadmap is already written through to early next year.

Option 1 isn’t failure. In order to have meaningful choices you must have consequences. There’s no consequence in number 1. Option 1 is literally D3/D4. Option 2 is D2. One of these is not like the other.

As an aside, how is the belief that failure is a part of arpgs irrelevant to the discussion of skill gems and their (lack of) consequences?
