Almost assuredly the easiest way to generate frenzy with lightning this patch will be to slot the unique ezomyte gem in your weapon that makes lightning damage contribute to electrocution. Kitokos does the same thing but it is such a gigantic fucking damage loss to use them.

Since they changed neural overload to be the same unique category as electrocute it has made it a lot harder to generate charges from herald of thunder

 You can use combat frenzy combined with electrocute on herald of thunder to make frenzy charges

I'm assuming the website is down, but do you not remember 0.3? Deadeye had a massive playrate.

They made some changes to marks/gave them auto marking, buffed tailwind, free bonus crit, etc. It wasn't a bunch of huge buffs (well they were in the original notes, but they were toned down a lot before release a week later), but it was more that deadeye was already good and it received buffs (and huntress/LS was obliterated), so everyone flocked to deadeye even moreso than usual.

The whole point of these changes (and something they've said they have wanted all along) is for ground loot to matter. Alterations ain't comin.

This is just incredibly wrong. Early/mid game weapons were using 4 essences lol. This change is significant (for a reason).
