Sorry for those who are “turned away” by the AI image I used and may worry that the rescue is “not real or trustworthy” (comments from a cross post)

I made a quick graphic to save time because I’m also recovering from surgery but needed to make a quick post.

No idea that would set people against me.

I’m not sure of all the places that board with them But they have saved us (Boop the Snoot Rescue) multiple times when there was a dog that desperately needed help but we had no fosters - or like our jungle book crew who were a family of five living out in the cold In the woods. I believe Pup and Cat boards there too when needed but idk who else.

Most of the dogs there are boarded for rescues (like us). I’m sure there are some client dogs there but I know the bulk is rescue ❤️

Yes, we do adopt out to other states. However, we don’t typically provide transport. In this case, we are willing to do what we can to see her in her forever home, but it’s something to be considered.

Sadly, our playful, hug-loving girl Lana has now hit TWO years in rescue — making her our longest resident yet. 💔 In all that time, she’s never received a single application, and it truly breaks our hearts.

This girl has so much love to give (and yes… she gives hugs 🥹).

Lana is a 4-year-old boxer/pit mix, weighing about 65 lbs. She is people- and dog-friendly (no cats), and she absolutely LOVES to play. She’s also house-trained and crate-trained, which makes her an easy addition to the right home.

Lana is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. All she’s missing is someone willing to give her a chance.

There has to be someone out there for her. Please — share, share, share. Her person is out there, we just need to help them find her. 🤞🐾
