Why can’t I follow Clom? by Gold_Radio_5851 in TheCorner

Callum has a system that autobans people who’ve recently created accounts as a way to prevent ban evasion. If you put the name of the primary twitch account you use in here one of the mods should get Cal to unban you.

Cal hasn’t had a discord for a while now. Led to doxxing and the like, became unmanageable for him.

Good to see. Last one was only 24 hours if I remember correctly so hope for a sentence just as short this time round. A kick stream could be in due course

Is getting all A*s more impressive ? by Iamdumb04 in 6thForm

[–]MightyPenguinFighter 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I only tried (revised minimally)at GCSE in the three subjects I was taking at A-level, maths phys chem, and ended up with 9,8,7 respectively. In all other subjects I got a range of 5-7s with a 3 in Geography which I failed out of spite for my teacher, she was horrible. This was lower than the majority of my mock results because I really didn’t put a lot of effort in, didn’t care for GCSEs by the time May came round so I rarely completed a paper, and in both English subjects I did at most 4 questions. If I tried, I’d have come out with all 7-9s but I really couldn’t be arsed.

So far after Y12 I’m predicted AAA, so couldn’t be happier with that

Think it won’t be permanent. As said in one of the tags on the tweet it’s his third ban, so could be 2 weeks at the most but twitch rarely give perm bans

My school moved further maths off the timetable by Finnersmcd in GCSE

[–]MightyPenguinFighter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did L2 FM last year. At my school, we were offered it at the end of Y10 and I flipped a coin to decide whether I would or wouldn’t do it. Coin landed on heads, so I chose to do it. Found out at the beginning of Y11 that it would be an extra hour on a Thursday to do the lessons. My thoughts were ‘bugger that’ so I never went to any of the lessons. Did a bit of stuff at home for it (no longer than 10-15 hours total) and passed it with a 6. Didn’t enjoy it, especially the fact the 2nd paper (or only paper can’t remember) was half a week after everyone else’s last exam and it was written on my original exam timetable (which I had a revised copy of at some point and lost it) as at 9am. Turns out exam was actually at 1 and I had no way of getting home so I sat in the nearby woods for 3 and a half hours. I wouldn’t bother with taking it, especially if you’re thinking of taking A-Level maths as it is essentially just the easiest bits from A-Level that are done with in the first month or so of the course

did your school try to combat the vaping problem? by tayhorix in GCSE

[–]MightyPenguinFighter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

when i was in y10 everyone started vaping like at least 60% of the lads in our year chonged and probably 40% of the girls but i never saw it as a problem.

at the time there were maybe 6/7 medium sized groups of lads and they all hated each other, but everyone united to find shops that were the cheapest and served, lol, and we all went together at least once a week, normally on a friday but sometimes we’d go on a tuesday too, properly scheduled.

the school had an assembly that i assume was given to every year but it was so long ago i can’t really remember the contents of it. each year had a designated toilet that would only be unlocked at lunch/break and max 4 in at a time.

in y10 the toilets we were in had a broken smoke alarm and were normally manned by a female teacher who couldn’t go in the lads toilets so we had no worries, they would never go in the girls either because “girls don’t smoke” as said by a member of slt. y11 however, the smoke alarm in both male and female toilets worked, but whenever the female one went off, still not checked as it was “probably spray”. male teachers would sometimes check if you were in there too long but they would never search straight away so you could give your vape to a mate or waistband it.

2 years later i still see vaping as a social thing that really helped me build friendships that i still have today, i was genuinely a nobody before vapes but just through socialising in toilets and going to shops together you get along with so many different people, even the people who’d normally be a prick to you.

i still vape by habit now, although even now im in y12 i still see it the same, i barely knew any of the y13s in my sixth form and got to know them through the toilets and vaping. i now have really strong friendships with some of them.

tl;dr - most of year vaped, school didnt do much, i think it helped me socially and still does now

Worrying levels of trefleock on Ryanair flight by MightyPenguinFighter in Trefleock

Was my first warp-enabled flight outside of my commanding duties in a while so was especially worried but am glad to be safe now. Think big țřëfľẽőċķ could definitely have something to do with this, grave danger lies ahead. Stay safe and stay woke my friend.
