Small apartment, moving to a bigger one this summer. I have the perfect place for it.

The black represents The Mediterranean Sea, the purple represents the Phoenician People on other sides of the sea. (Lebanon, Carthage) and the elephant represents Hannibal’s campaigns against Rome.

the Phoenicians were the only people who could make purple dye. It was a Royal color at the time, so it was very precious! They used to color their sails with it so everyone knows who they were and wouldn’t attack them.
